Tracey is a renowned environmental expert and leader in large and complex loss

PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND – OCTOBER 2024: Halliwell, the loss consulting firm specializing in engineering, forensic investigation, environmental and construction consulting has appointed Tracey D. Dodd as President of Halliwell US. Tracey will lead the organization’s market facing efforts, brand development, and growth strategy, including a new environmental consulting service offering.

Tracey will head up Halliwell’s US operations alongside Chad Zielinski. As Senior Vice President of Operations, Chad will continue to drive service delivery, focusing on building offerings for better outcomes, operational efficiencies, client services, and the daily administration of the business. Founder Jack Halliwell will transition his current role as President to Tracey and continue to support Chad and Tracey as Senior Executive Strategy Advisor, leveraging his extensive knowledge base and industry network to support the growth of the business.

Regarded as one of the most renowned environmental loss experts in the US, Tracey joins from a global consulting firm, where she was Sr. Managing Principal of its Large Complex Loss practice. Tracey has over 25 years’ experience in support of environmental, health, and safety projects. Her direct consulting experience is focused on Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) within healthcare settings and potential exposures, as well as toxicological and risk assessment support for food and product contamination. She has a strong focus on directing strategy, growth, and transition of businesses in various sectors. Tracey also has significant experience in business acquisitions and organizational management, alongside corporate diversity and stewardship.

The C-level appointment follows a period of significant expansion for the forensic technical loss consulting firm. Halliwell recently launched a Time Element and Delay Analysis (TEDA) service, following the recruitment of a team of senior specialists. In May it acquired fire and toxicological sciences specialist, FireTox, expanding its scientific fire research capabilities.

Tracey Dodd, President, Halliwell US, added: “I am thrilled to join Halliwell US at such an exciting time in the company’s journey. Halliwell’s commitment to delivering exceptional service, innovation, and technical expertise aligns perfectly with my professional values. I look forward to working alongside the talented team to expand our existing capabilities as well as potentially new environmental consulting services and continue building on Halliwell’s strong reputation in the market.”

Chad Zielinski, Senior Vice President, Operations, Halliwell US, concluded: “Tracey is the perfect leader to usher in a new era to the firm,” Chad said. “She is deeply committed to our mission and success. Her collaborative, relationship-centered leadership style will advance Halliwell’s established strong culture and values. I’ve seen great things that can happen from working collaboratively and I’m excited to team up with Tracey. In fact, I can’t wait to see how she brings new energy, perspectives, and innovations to the organization, and puts her own stamp on our firm’s future.”

Jack Halliwell, Senior Executive Strategy Advisor, Halliwell US, commented: “Tracey’s appointment as President comes at a pivotal moment for Halliwell.
