Forensic Engineering Investigation, Construction and Technical Consulting firm recruits a team of senior specialists to lead new offering
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI – SEPTEMBER 2024: Forensic Engineering, Construction and Technical expertise consulting firm Halliwell has expanded its offering with the launch of a Time Element and Delay Analysis service, following the recruitment of a team of senior specialists. The team provides specialized time element and delay analysis services for global insurance and reinsurance markets to bring clarity and resolution to some of the world’s largest and most complex claims.
The team will be led by Henry Densham, MRICS, as Director. He is a Chartered Surveyor with extensive experience in delay and schedule analysis providing claims management and dispute resolution services on large loss insurance claims. Based in Chicago, Henry has been engaged on major projects across global insurance markets in the Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
Laura Dent P.E. has joined as Assistant Director. Laura is based in New York and has utilized her extensive field and technical knowledge to develop expert technical reports for various delay in start-up (DSU) claims, business interruption (BI) claims, and legal proceedings for major projects across global insurance markets. Laura’s experience includes project engineering in the areas of bridge construction, transportation infrastructure, marine construction, and oil and gas in the US and internationally. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and has acquired her Professional Engineer (P.E.) License for Civil Engineering Construction from the state of New Jersey.
The team specialize in the resolution of DSU and BI claims across multiple industry sectors including large-scale property, power generation, heavy civil / infrastructure, industrial / chemical, agricultural and oil and gas. This includes forensic schedule analysis on delay claims under builders’ risk insurance policies with DSU, or equivalent coverage; timeline consulting for BI insurance claims; evaluation of concurrent delay sources and float; assessment of potential loss mitigation measures; and construction project progress monitoring.
