Biography

Taylor joined Halliwell in 2024 to grow and develop a regional construction services team, bringing over 16 years of experience in the construction and insurance industries. His previous work as a Building Consultant and Restoration Contractor provides an in-depth knowledge of new build construction, remediation, and restoration of existing structures. He is an expert in large loss complex loss damage assessment, scope of work, and cost estimating. In addition, he is an expert in large loss, building damage assessment, loss value estimating, remediation protocol, cost review negotiations, schedule reviews, and project management and has worked high end residential and large commercial and industrial losses ranging from storm-related events to fire, hurricane, tornado, earthquake, flood, theft, and vandalism damages.

Taylor also is a commercial drone pilot and has experience as a project manager and certified estimator. Taylor has experience in managing multi-disciplined expert teams on large loss insurance claims. This work involves scheduling and coordinating inspections, research, analyses of data, and development of work products for projects involving multiple experts to ensure a coordinated approach to the project.
