Biography
With 25 years of working in both consultancy and construction firms, Paul has a well-balanced experience of quantity surveying skills including estimating, cost planning, cost management, cost monitoring and contract administration. He has worked on commercial, civil and infrastructure projects including multi-story offices and accommodation units, multi-story carparks, shopping malls, training facilities, health facilities, water treatment facilities, manufacturing and processing plants, roadworks and airport taxiways.
Since joining Halliwell (formerly Roberts International Consultants) in 2015, Paul has been carrying out various quantity surveying functions that are specific to the insurance industry. These functions include preparation of budget estimates for repair works, value at risk valuations, indemnity valuations and reports, auditing contractor’s progress claims and assessing variation claims for repair works, expert witness reporting, contract works claims, liability claims, etc. on various types of Insurance claims in relation to buildings and civil works, including mining and marine structures.
