Donald Coleman joined Halliwell in 2021 as a Senior Construction Expert bringing more than 30 years of experience in the construction and insurance industry along with more than 20 years of fire service experience. He has the expertise and skill set to deliver accurate and thorough: all perils damage assessments; reconstruction estimates; claim evaluations; job site progress monitoring; construction consulting; and property loss consulting.
Earlier in his career, Donald spent 12 years operating a building construction company specializing in residential framing, restaurant repair, and residential electrical installations. He also worked as a Municipal Building Official where he reviewed construction documents and field inspected residential and commercial properties for code compliance. He achieved an invaluable understanding of the model building codes, local ordinances, and their impact on the built environment.

As a staff large loss adjuster for major insurance carriers, he managed full cycle commercial and personal lines property claims including fire, wind, hail, water, vandalism, and theft losses. Donald holds a FAA UAS (Drone) Remote Pilot license and is a 3D Matterport, and Theta 360, camera operator.
