Biography
Dave has worked in the commercial and residential construction industry for over 45 years, specializing heavily in roofing and waterproofing. In the commercial arena, he has considerable expertise with built-up roofing (BUR), modified bitumen systems, single-ply systems, and spray polyurethane foam (SPF) applications. Dave has more than twenty years of experience as a building consultant and specializes in damage evaluations, scheduling information, project management, and loss estimating. He provides catastrophe site consulting and management of large loss projects including numerous major assignments during multiple hurricane, tornado, and hailstorm events across the U.S. He also provides appraisal and umpire services to assist in dispute resolution.
David has collaborated with large HOAs, high-end homeowners, and apartment complex managers to oversee specialized projects involving clay or concrete tiles, composition shingles, simulated shake and shingle applications, concrete restoration, epoxy injection, acid staining, and other coating systems. He was a granite and marble contractor specializing in slab fabrication, installation, and stone flooring and showers. He has also worked in commercial “design-build” construction, planning and managing modernization, tenant improvements, and infrastructure projects for various clients from retail to aerospace.
