Biography
Tracey has over twenty-five years’ experience in support of environmental, health, and safety projects. From her start as an environmental consultant in the ports and vessel fabrication yards of southern Louisiana and Mississippi to the development and growth of her environmental consulting business to its ultimate sale, Tracey has built a solid reputation in the forensic field. Her technical specialization includes assessments associated with damage to determine scope and repair. She has completed hundreds of Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments and work in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Additionally, her experience includes environmental risk assessments and toxicological services for corrective action and expert testimony, as well as the performance of workplace industrial hygiene assessments during operations and remediation.
Tracey has extensive experience in environmental damage assessment associated with spills, discharges and releases to land and open water. Her work includes emergency response and contamination assessment and remediation design for soils, water, and the aquatic environment associated with chemicals/petrochemicals and working with local, state, and national regulatory agencies. She has performed toxicological evaluations of sediments and sediment re-suspension to evaluate impact to marine/aquatic communities and evaluated economic, environmental, and cultural/social impacts associated with project activities in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act.
Tracey’s direct consulting experience has a focus in Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) within healthcare settings and potential exposures, as well as toxicological and risk assessment support for food and product contamination. Tracey has lead and grown teams with matters involving causation, food safety, foodborne illness and regulatory compliance, as well as with food processing / manufacturing and agriculture. Tracey has lead teams on projects in Europe, Latin American and Canada. She has a strong focus in risk management and risk controls, directing strategy, growth, and transition of business in various sectors.
