Lim is an experienced electrical engineer who has carried out investigations into electrical breakdowns throughout Malaysia and Southeast Asia countries. He is experienced in thermographic surveys and electrical fire investigations.

Lim has performed Investigations into fire and electrical fault incidents at solar farms in Malaysia and Thailand and conducted damage assessments of wetted or toppled machinery such as lift components, die sorting machine, semiconductor foundries, server rack, cryptocurrency mining machines, and CNC machines.
