Biography
Metin is a degreed electrical engineer with more than 28 years’ experience in assisting the insurance and legal communities following electrical and mechanical equipment/system losses by performing failure analyses to determine cause, nature, and extent of damage, as well as establishing market valuation for repair and replacement options, including restoration and salvage. He specializes in project management for complex and large losses, including disaster recovery. His expertise includes investigations of electronic equipment losses, determining origin and cause, and establishing equipment valuation and damage assessment. His investigations have involved losses caused by fire, water, power surges, and natural disasters for commercial, industrial and residential buildings, water and wastewater facilities, the pulp and paper, energy and power, and petroleum (refining and storage) industries.
