Biography

Joshua has more than nine years of combined experience in structural design, construction, and forensic investigations. He specializes in investigations of commercial, residential, and site structures relating to the cause, extent, and repairability of damage including evaluation of water intrusion, wind damage, hail damage, flood damage, fire damage, impact damage, structural failures and collapses, and foundation damage. Joshua has performed forensic engineering assessments involving structural damage; retaining wall failures; water intrusion evaluations; flood damage; and wind and hail damage assessments to building envelopes and roof systems. He handles major commercial and multi-family residential losses and has consulted on large complex insurance losses, including churches, warehouse buildings, manufacturing facilities, industrial facilities, and condominium complexes.

Prior to forensics, Joshua worked as a structural design engineer performing site inspections and peer reviewing engineering documentation for temporary structures in the entertainment industry; designing and compiling construction documentation for parking garages, steel, and timber structures; and reviewing construction phase submittals and requests for information (RFl's) for parking garage construction. He also oversaw modern building envelope construction during his time working for a general contractor.
