Dr Daniel Brandon is leading international research of the fire performance of buildings, mainly those comprising a timber structure. He has received several awards from organizations active in different fields. He is playing a leading role in several networks that strive for collaboration, inclusiveness and dissemination. Daniel also acts as expert third-party reviewer for the fire safety design of tall and complex timber buildings.

He holds a PhD in Civil Engineering and a MSc in Structural Design.
