Biography
Tom Marinos has more than 25 years of engineering experience in the design, evaluation, and analysis of Structural / Building Engineering systems for Buildings, Coastal Marine and Transportation Structures. This experience includes, but is not limited to, analysis and design of structural systems for buildings, civil systems for site works, coastal/marine structures such as industrial docks, bulkheads and seawalls and mid-span highway, pedestrian, and railroad bridge structures. He has performed analysis and design on a multitude of projects related to reinforced, pre-stressed and PT concrete slabs and beam/girder members and structural steel, external PT structural steel reinforced beams and truss frames for Building and Bridge Systems.
Tom has been involved with Construction Defect, Property Loss and AE Liability case investigations that pertain to structural engineering components encompassing Civil works for a wide variety of projects throughout the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. He has acted as an expert witness in numerous cases, providing an unbiased analysis and professional opinions for engineering related problems for single individual components and entire structural systems. Tom has experience in providing deposition testimonies for Property loss, Construction Defect and AE Liability case investigations.
