Alastair has been working in the building industry for 30 years. He has specialised in the financial management of construction projects in both pre and post contract phases. The majority of Alastair’s experience is in the private sector where he has gained experience with Hotels and Resorts, Sports & Leisure, Health Care, Civil Works, Education, Industrial and Offices. Alastair has international experience and has worked in London, Los Angeles, Nassau-Bahamas and New York before coming to Brisbane in 2015.

Alastair joined Halliwell (previously Roberts International) in 2017 and has developed and applied his knowledge of the insurance sector and the requirements and restrictions of insurance policies on a wide range of projects and provided cost advice for catastrophe recovery as well as individual claims. He has provided estimates, valuations and audit reports on a wide range of insurance events including Storm, Flood, Fire, Hail, Seismic, Hazardous Material Contamination, Land Slip, Inundation, Expert Witness Reports, etc.
